Our solution for importing medical images from any patient media into any PACS has undergone a few updates. Find out below which feature highlights have been added to this new version.

What’s new in DICOMReader 6.2?

• One license edition with all features
  With version 6.2, the software licensing has been simplified and the former DICOMReader BASIC or PRO is now distributed exclusively with one license edition including the application’s full feature set.
• Support of ZIP archives for importing images
  DICOMReader now supports the import of DICOM data directly from ZIP archives without the need for manual extraction, resulting in a significant workflow improvement.
• Optimized license usage for concurrent licensing
  The application now uses a concurrent license slot only during active operations, such as reading and sending data. It no longer occupies a slot during idle periods, configuration, or status checks. This change allows more instances to run simultaneously with a limited number of concurrent licenses.

DICOMReader 6.2 is available for download from our Download Center. Detailed information on this product can be found on our website or in the product brochure. All users with a valid Maintenance and Security Plan (MSP or former ASP) can upgrade to the new version free of charge.
