Updated: IHE Integration Statement for iQ-SYSTEM PACS
Please note that we have updated our IHE Integration Statement for iQ-SYSTEM PACS.
IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) is an initiative by healthcare professionals and the healthcare industry to improve the way computer systems in healthcare share information. IHE promotes the coordinated use of established standards such as DICOM and HL7 to address specific clinical needs in support of optimal patient care. Systems developed in accordance with IHE communicate with one another better, are easier to implement and enable care providers to use information more effectively.
The iQ-SYSTEM PACS IHE Integration Statement describes the intended conformance of the product with the IHE Technical Framework. You can find this document now in our Sales Partner Area.
Product discontinuations in 2025
Regarding the upcoming product discontinuations, we would like to inform you as follows:
October 14, 2025 – Product discontinuation of Windows 10
On October 14, 2025, Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 as this product has reached its end of life. This means that no more security patches will be made to this operating system which may open the door to potential cyber security risks for those who keep on using Windows 10 beyond that deadline.
Of course, as a medical device manufacturer, we must ensure that our software products only run on supported operating systems for safety reasons.
As a consequence, IMAGE will stop activating any software licenses (both new installations and replacement/migration licenses) on Windows 10 starting July 14, 2025. At the same time, we will stop providing technical support for iQ software that is installed on the above-mentioned operating system. This applies to both diagnostic and non-diagnostic use.
In case you or your customers are still using Windows 10 to run any medical software, we strongly recommend to take action now and upgrade to current operating systems and our latest software versions in order to avoid putting your medical networks at risk of hacking attacks and malicious software.
Make sure to inform your customers accordingly and to assist them in the transition in order to avoid any inconveniences.
October 14, 2025 – End of support of iQ-ROBOT 4.0 and DICOMReader 6.0
Our software development continuously evolves to deliver maximum value to your radiology clients. With each new release, we phase out older product versions that no longer meet current standards. Please note that from October 14, 2025, iQ-ROBOT 4.0 and DICOMReader 6.0 will reach their end of life and will no longer be supported by us as both products run on Windows 10, which will reach its end of life on October 14, 2025.
- The installation of iQ-ROBOT 4.1 includes iQ-LITE as a DICOM viewer, providing seamless access without the need for additional configuration or licensing. Furthermore, the software officially supports modern operating systems, including Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022, ensuring compatibility with the latest technology.
- DICOMReader 6.1 officially supports modern operating systems, including Windows 11.
Please note that as of October 14, 2025, we will no longer provide support, activations, migrations or replacement licences for iQ-ROBOT 4.0 and DICOMReader 6.0. If your customers are still using any of these versions, we strongly recommend they take immediate action and use the remaining months to upgrade to the latest version. Keeping your customers’ medical networks safe from cyber threats and malware requires keeping up to date with the latest software versions, security patches and operating systems.
