IMAGE Information Systems has reached a real milestone at the end of last year. On December 22, 2023, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary of successfully being in business.

In honor of this special occasion, the IMAGE team got together earlier this year to celebrate with some delicious birthday cake and listen to the company founder reminisce about the past two decades.

Twenty years ago, Dr. Arpad Bischof and Mike Jensen had noticed a lack of suitable medical imaging solutions in the market and envisioned a company that could take on this challenge. That was the starting point. Since the iQ-VIEW DICOM viewer first released in 2005, the product portfolio has seen many more additions including PACS, RIS and cloud solutions.

What started with the very first iQ installation in America in 2004 has now grown to a total of more than 10.000 installations across all continents – including our “coolest” installation in Antarctica.

Over the years, we have not only built a strong and reliable distributor network around the world, but also established offices in Germany, the United States and India with a passionate workforce of over 50 employees. On top of that, we are proud to have become a member of the PARATUS group last year in order to lay a solid foundation for the endeavors to come.

We would like to thank all our sales partners, customers, and team members for being the key to our success and for supporting us along the way. Without you, this anniversary wouldn’t have been possible. Let’s continue to achieve amazing things together as we head towards new milestones in the future.
